In Japanese, they call this KECHI.
So, I didn't want to waste paper on doing the hair follow through if I wasn't sure on how to do it... so I recycled.
You know what they say.

& Please give me pointers on how to make the hair look like it's actually FT. Because, the girl looks like she's simply standing still and the camera is panning around her.

Tail Follow Through
So for this ball, I deleted the happy face (;_; Bye bye happy face... I'll smell you again later <3
As for this animation.
The first part of the animation, is totally odd. I'm going to redo it again, tonight. Why? The tail doesn't move as it's falling. It's stuck. Frozen. Like a fruit. Then once it falls, it comes to life. I'm def redoing this one. ALong with my tail for the first FT assignment.

Bouncing Ball: Revised
Okay, I finished this assignment several days ago.. and I was ready to tape! Until the battery of my friends camera ran out the MOMENT i was uploading the pictures. Then I tried new batteries, which seemed to work for taking pictures! ...until I checked the memory, and found out that all 25 or so of the shots I took were not taken! I just laughed.
SO I had to wait until Sunday to use ANOTHER friend's camera (the same one I used for my first assignment) which brings me to this newly revised video.
The first bounce, I like. The second bounce, is not a full bounce, I JUST REALIZED, so, I need to do it over... It's hard to see when you're just flipping, but once you put it on the screen literally, "itches."
Once I get money, hopefully within the next few days, I'll finally be able to buy a web cam, along with some -batteries- for my friend's camera. So from now on, I'm filming my animation at home!

The Tail
Alright, I finally uploaded with higher quality.
I'm saddened to say that this final video isn't even HALF of my original idea... So, let me kind of explain the story here. The guy reading the newspaper has a tail. ODD. I know. So, obviously that's not HIS tail. It's actually the angry cat's tail, which was SWITCHED... that cat's tail has some kind of puffiness going on there, like a rabbit tail. So, hopefully, people can kind of realize that the cat is angry at the man because it wants it's tail back!
My original idea (which was actually SEVERAL) is that the cat comes STOMPING in the paper and SNATCHES the tail off the man... That's just a little TOO much follow-through that I've yet to gain the experience for. But, that doesn't mean I didn't try... I TRIED... oh gosh, I TRIED!! But, in the end, I ran out of time... and had to scrap the extra 10 or so in-between drawings. I had to simplify the project, so that ATLEAST,,, the whole point of the assignment.. the TAIL wagging can be emphasized...
This movie is shot on 2s and the last on is a 3 I believe... (the video I posted earlier, was just WAY to short) now that I come home to see it.
Okay... hope you guys in enjoy it. Please give me feedback whenever you can. Mahalo ^^
BTW, that random cat that pops in and out of the animation.. I didn't realize until after taping the video that I FORGOT to erase that little fella... He was actually supposed to be that angry cat who wakes up to realize that his tail was STOLEN!!!!!
Alright.. next time! This project just makes it more evident of how much I need to draw (life drawings) ALL THE TI~~ME in order to be able to animate "faster" "efficiently" and "accurately." Love it.
